ATS service, "flush" vs pan-drop and filter?

/ ATS service, "flush" vs pan-drop and filter? #21
Either way will work if done on a REGULAR interval, most newer transmissions do not have a filter they have a screen which can be washed out and reused.Flushing while a good choice will not remove any pc's caught in this screen as you are still just running fluid thru it the same way [but it is new] if your doing a lot of towing I would alternate every other year 1 year flush next drop pan and service. Also GM 4L80E owner's have cooler fushed and BACKED flushed every 3-5 yrs [just the cooler] you won't belive how much crap sticks to those cooler tubes and restricts them.In are fleet operation we just throw the extra gm cooler thats mounted on raditor support away and replace it with a new one every 90,000.$140 way cheaper than $2500 trans.plus labor. Hope I helped with this rehash
