it should show up under the programs,
START
SETTINGS
CONTROL PANEL
ADD or REMOVE PROGRAMS (make sure you have the top left click button clicked on (CHANGE OR REMOVE PROGRAMS) also make sure that you have the check box (SHOW UPDATES) at the top clicked, then make sure the drop down menu/button has (NAME) on it in the upper right hand side. this is where you scroll down to Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 highlight that then click the button (REMOVE PROGRAM) that will pop up when the program is highlighted inside the info/blue highlight box.)
that should help and it should automatically go back to ie6XX AFTER IT IS DONE REMOVING IE7.
anyhow that is how it worked for me, as first I started looking for a DL copy of IE6 figuring I'd have to reinstall it but it was done automatically luckily!
