Just bought the KA160 blower for my 4500 and was very pleased with the way it worked.
However, if I just disconnected it on the ground, it was very very low for the front forks to pick it back up again. If I put it on a pallet, it became too high.
So did some measuring and came up with this pad I made from simple 2x4's.
Thought it might be of interest to someone. Important dimensions are on the pics. Put it together with lag bolts and deck screws and whatever I had extra. The two balls on the top are doggie chew toys from Wally mart.
The two rubber balls keep the blower from falling off of the pad when attaching and un attaching. I put the blower on the pad first then marked where the balls should be placed.
I wanted the wheels on the unit to not touch anything so that it wouldn't "run" on me while trying to attach it.
