Attachment Blues...Is there a cure???

Bill,

You may only be in the early stages. You'll know you've reached advanced stages when you hide purchases from family members. Or when you leave work early and two or more colleagues ask: "Going home to ride your tractor?"

Here are two tell-tale questions:

1) Do you think about buying land for your tractor?

Many people on this forum consider land as a tractor attachment.

2) Do you fantasize about giving up your present career to do tractor work?

There is at least one member of TBN who has done this.

Now to get serious, be glad u own a CUT because if u owned
a SSL and a CUT think of all the extra toys to buy.
The SSL toys cost lots more too.

More buckets $700 (2 is not enough)

PHD $2000 forgot about this one

Yes I bought more land to work on, but my family doesn't help,
father-in-law wants me to buy 100 ac. of his so he can buy 300 ac. more.
I guess it does get worse w/ AGE.

I .... I .... CONFESS! I have looked at a PHD. I do have a deck to build after all and that will require at least a dozen holes. I mean, if I rent a PHD that'll cost me a couple of hundred dollars, probably. And that's money wasted! I can use my own PHD over and over again! Five more rentals and its paid for!
I forgot to mention that I bought a quonset hut (mistake - it would have been quicker, cheaper, and better to build in wood) and erected it on a proper concrete foundation just to keep my tractor and attachments out of the rain. I am in the process of desiging a multilevel system to stack up attachments because they already take too much floor space.
I am a stock analyst for pity's sake - I should be living in a palatial urban dwelling living the high life, not on a farm with rabbits and other critters. Instead of a couple of Mercedes I have a couple of trucks and a copule of tractors. Instead of manicured hands, mine are cut from clearing out a hedgerow, and my fingernails are dirty from doing the 100 hour service on my JD 345.
Its bad enough that us analysts are responsible for all the greed and corruption in the stock market - if the media finds out about my sickness it'll be on the front page.
I am a sick man - send money!

Unfortunately....yes!

Well...no...but...I already gave up that career BEFORE getting the tractor. Now I can use it ALL I WANT!!!

I know what RFM, MMM, PHD, FEL, BH, even SSL stand for (I think), but I could not figure out what an AGE is!

But what kind of attachment is an AGE? Guess I better stear clear of that one! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
