ATTACHMENT BRANDS

Looking to buy a CUT this month. Several dealers are offering package deals with tractor, loader, tiller or rotary cutter, and box blade. I am looking at the packages but also at buying the tractor and loader then getting attachments elsewhere.

I intend to have a tiller, box blade, rotary mower, and a trailer to move them on.

How would you rank the attachment brands. King Kutter, Land Pride, Howse, etc.

I have no experience with any of them.

RSKY

Hey RSKY,

You should take a look at my web site and check out my implement package deals. I have put a few good King Kutter implement packages for first time tractor buyers. The packages also include residential shipping and lift gate service. I will be adding more good implement packages together for the up coming hunting seasion.

If you look at my site and one of the packages don't seem to fit what you are looking for let me know and I will try to put another package together.

Thanks
Bruce McGee

I have always had good luck with Woods Equipment. I am sure it is not the cheapest, but there are lots of threads about Brush cutters falling appart with seemingly normal use.
I bought a Woods 72" Brush Bull (50PTO HP tractor) There was an extreme duty which I did not buy.
I cut down a small forest of Brush with this machine and even the occational Cinder Block, Boulder, old washing machine did not slow it down!
I would buy the best equipment I could afford. The price varies greatly from the USA equipment, to the Pacific rim, to the Knock off of the Pacific rim.
I wanted equipment that would last "Forever" with only routine maintanence.
I did not want another high maintanence item on my hands, so I bought the Woods Brush Bull and never regreted the decision.
Also bought a Woods Blade and Box Scraper.........which I have not "Tested " yet

Good Luck

I dont know where you got the info that Howse is Canadian. They are in Laurel Mississippi, .

Well I was wrong. Now that you point it out I have no idea where I got that misinformation but have "known" that for years as I had a QA adapter I thought was from Howse in Ontario. Maybe it was a similar sounding company name or maybe my brain is fried. Mea culpa. Thanks for the correction.

I have a Landpride 72" box blade and it seems to be high quality. With a lot of practice I'm getting much better at using it. I would recommend it.
