Attachment storage

Mine all sit inside. If I don't have room for them inside, I don't buy them. Heated, A/C'd etc.
Fortunately in Mississippi as long as I keep stuff covered from falling precipitation and where a breeze can get to it heat and a/c is rarely required.
Virtually no freeze/thaw cycle which ruined metal in Vermont.

My plan is to build a open storage shelter that has the racks shown above. Then put everything on pallets and use my tractor with pallet forks to put them on the shelves. Too many projects, too lazy.

This is my plan as well. I figure 3-pt implements on the ground (concrete), loader implements on the middle shelf, and obnoxious snowblower frame up on top. Probably 3-sided maybe even with a heavy canvas tarp/door on the front. You know, someday...........

I keep my brush hog on skids under a barn overhang, but my tiller is on a skid in the back field. Next year I'll make room under a roof of some kind. The rest of my stuff just sits outside till needed. Blade is on it for the winter.

Here is how I store mine:

The tractor along with Farmi winch (on it) and EA grapple (on it) as well as a brush hog are under cover in the wood shed.

Nice!!! Using the wood to create more shelter for the equipment inside is clever!!!

Yep, the back two 'bays' are loaded with wood and the front half devoted to the equipment. Unfortunately no room for the car now :) Guess I need a garage next.

Looks like you're teasing them by parking them JUST OUTSIDE of cover. haha.

The disc mower, square baler, round baler, batwing shredder, no-till drill, & herbicide sprayer stay inside. Everything else is outside. The 16' disk, moldboard, and chisel plow have been outside since the 1970's.

Do you recall where you got the industrial shelving? (tidalflats2003@yahoo.com). Thanks.

I'm just now seeing your photos here. Can you send some additional photos for me to study on how you built the dolly for the York-type rake, please? Thanks. (tidalflats2003@yahoo.com).
