Attention - \'Bird\' or Others?
Hey Bird, Sorry to single ya out but I have noticed over the past year or so that you have or used to have a B7100 with a FEL. I was wondering if ya may remember where the FEL got its hydralic pressure from? (Where did it tie into the pressure line) and where did the return line go into the resevoir? This is all in regards to the FEL that I have built for my own B7100.(Early 80's) Every thing else has been done on the loader with the exception of the plumbing to the rams and the spool(Control Valve.) I see where there is a solid hydralic block located just ahead of the brake pedals on the motor and I am thinking that since this is a pressure line, that I can just drill and tap this block to 1/2" pipe and supply the FEL. I also have a spot on the resevoir that is already tapped for 1/2" pipe that is about 2 inches to the left of the dipstick on the case . (You would normally fill it here). I was thinking I could send the return to here. Does this sound correct? I would appreciate your thoughts. ideas. Also, Do you remember if ya had to have an extra resevoir to hold more (Extra fluid) with the FEL. I am afraid that with the bucket in the air, It may run my fluid low in the resevoir with all the fluid in the rams and not have enough to supply the rest of the tractor. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks again... Visa
