Rox, congratulations and I'm glad to hear your gray-hair-maker has been set aside.
We all know how hard you worked for this since you gave us detailed insight at a very personal level. We have also closed our real estate sale of my wife's old house and property (22 acres). It was a super hassle because mortgage companies want to lend money on houses instead of land. It also almost fell through at the last minute because our buyer broke up with his girlfriend who had been really pushing for the deal to close since she was losing the lease on her house and has poor credit. Luckily, we settled last Wednesday and all funds settled on Friday. We had a very special celebration on Valentine's Day. The timing was perfect.

Thanks Eddie, Bird, Jinman and 2many rocks. Like everybody I quickly did figured out that moaning and groinng about the situation does nothing to improve it. It actually doesn't even make you feel any netter as it jsut puts you in a bad mood. Nothing to do but get in there and work towards the best possible outcome. 2many- the proceeds go to pay off our olive farm. Well a little left over also but that is the main use, tha will be sweet.

Maybe since the dollar has come up a bit, it makes it a little easier to think about.
I would think that almost any college freshman would have a hard time keeping up with your motivation. My S-I-L is a college freshman and she stayed with us over Christmas. She's soft spoken and a bit shy too. Also, she's not too motivated when it comes time for dishwashing etc...
