The snows all but gone, but the ice is still hanging in!
It gave way leaving the tracks a 10-12" edge to try to climb up from the creek bed. Both ahead and behind. Then even though I was being cautious it threw off the front left track and needed to be lifted out.
Both my forester and I had a good hike out and fortunately it was open enough to get my tractor in to it for the rescue.
I need Arly's style of track, but these happened to come with the machine. They're fine in the snow but much more than a 6" blunt obstacle... those little 8" front and back idlers won't climb over.
