Auto Cycle Valve

Any one using a prince 5200 auto cycle valve on their splitter or processor?
For some reason they pulled them all off the shelves up here in the North and I think I want to add one to my processor. Sure would spped up my cycle time as I could advance the log and start cutting while the splitter is doing itds own thing. May have to go do a little cross border shopping.

I use one.

It works excellent. When im splitting, the "return" spool doesnt kick off until i split all the logs on my lift (or i slow down :laughing. Its hard to put into words, but basically i can keep feeding the splitter before the ram retracts fully and the return kicks off. It really speeds things up.

I dont believe its been taken off the market here. Check Princess Auto thats where i got mine. I dont have a SKU for you though.

If they dont have it, a local hydraulics specialist can get it from prince. I just got a price on one with PB to replace mine that doesnt have PB so its still an active part. Cost was too much so i worked around the one i have.

This valve is used to automatically cycle a hydraulic cylinder-out, back, stop-. When both handles are pulled back the cylinder will extend out. When it reaches full extension, the first spool will go into neutral and begin retracting. When ram makes full retraction, the second spool will kit out and the cycle is complete . To start the next cycle pull both handles back.
