Auto Throttle Advance

Just a comment here. I like the Auto Throttle Advance feature with the HST. It'd be great to see an aftermarket kit that transforms a standard HST to the auto throttle advance system. Seems like something like this would be do-able.

That would be a nice option to have.A close friend just bought a new Kioti 3510 hst with this feature it was a $128 upgrade.Well worth it to me..

That feature is present on my Massey tractors. Love it. The Massey system is straight mechanical, as a redundant linkage that runs parallel to the throttle cable that is engaged by the hand throttle. The foot pedal cable terminates just an inch or so away from the hand throttle cable. I'll snap a pic later. I'll bet something similar could be added to most machines.

What does Auto Throttle Advance do?

as you increase the down pressure on the direction pedal; the engine RPMS will automatically increase as well. As you release the direction pedal, engine rpm's drop down to idle. Gas saver, quieter, less engine wear.
