Last month I posted that I had added the components to my Yanmar tiller so I had auto depth and tilt control. Liking the auto controls so much I picked up another sensor and mounted it on my quick mount hitch.
Now the QMH has auto tilt and anything mounted on the QMH can be adj with the flip of a switch or with the switch left in the ON position, it will maintain level on a real time basis over a range of about +/- 10. The Yanmar sensor has a dead band of approx +/- 2. when the sensor senses the need to correct, the hitch ends up less than a degree off of being level. Plenty close enough for tractor work.
Anyone with a Yanmar with the UFO controls can do this easily and relitively cheap. Just need to inquire with your friendly gray market Yanmar dealer.
