rtimgray, don't assume it is the shocks. Get under it and findout whats wrong with it..
check and see if its a limited slip if so change the fluid and add the LS additive. hth

Is there a brand you would recommend for this? It requires 80w-90 lubricant for the differential. I'm not familiar with a kind with a LS additive (I assume LS is for "limited slip").

You are welcome and the additive is specially for limited slip it changes regular 90 wt (yes either 80-90 or 90 is fine 80-90 is better for most areas fwtw) to LS and any parts house will have it its just a small bottle.
It may take a week or so for it to start working so give it a chance and do sharp turns both ways to work it in between the clutch plates in the LS unit. good luck
So just to clarify, the LS additive is a separate bottle, not blended in with the gear oil already - is that correct?
