I am taking delivery of an L3830 on 1/14 and asked my dealer to install auxillary lights. He told me he ordered the Kubota light kit for $70. I have no idea what it looks like, but have seen numerous light set-ups and fabricated brackets, etc. Does anyone know what the Kubota light kit is, where it's mounted, etc? Thanks for any info.

What kind, brand of lights have you guys found to work well? I bought a cheap rubber mounted 55 watt that really is not that bright.

All that I can tell you about the Kubota lights is that when I ordered my 4630GSTC all I had was pictures to look at, no close models on the lot. I ordered the rear work lights for the cab, when it was delivered I drove down the driveway and parked it the shed, but I did check out the rear lights and they were great and I am sure that you will be pleased with the rops ones also.

I have a Kubota 4310. Im putting a Sims cab and then adding lights and a heater. I have never aded a wiring circuit to anything before, just repaired wiring on tractors. My question is I have a lead going from battery to a starter solenoid then going to the power bar thats ok. next I took a lead from the key switch so the power goes off when ignition switch is off. The solenoid has two smaller posts on it , the lead from the ignition switch goes to one and the other goes to ground, Does this sound right ? I dont want to burn any wiring up . Thanks Wayne

Finally got that digital camera. Here are the lights I installed. The locations seem odd but the lighting is very good from these positions. Better than if I did it symetrically I believe. As you can see the left light facing rearward is forward facing with the POPS up. Sure mitigates the FEL bucket interference with the factory lights. You can see the brackets that were fabricated to mount the lights to the ROPS. I'll try and post another closer shot of the bracket. This is my first photo post so here goes....

Speaking of lights. I let the dealer install mine when I got the tractor. Even though they have their own switches, I have to turn on the headlights to use them?! That's an aweful waste of battery when I only need the rear lights. Is this the way the factory lights work or did the dealer install them wrong?
