It sounds like you're getting some traction even though it may take a while for things to straighten out. I certainly respect that your boss appears to have stepped in and become proactive on your behalf. As a business owner and employer myself (not in a tractor related industry) I feel that employer loyalty to employees is an important part of attracting and keeping good workers and usually is a good indicator of how a business treats customers as well.
Of course the same observations could be made regarding reps, distributors, and manufacturers right up the line as well. How people like yourself are treated during this transition will be an important test of how well the reorganized new franchise will fare going forward. In short situations like yours are early and great opportunities for them to prove themselves.
Keep on top of this and keep us updated. I would also recommend that you remember to thank those that are instrumental in getting results for you. We are often quick to jump on situations that aren't right so we should also be consistent at pointing out those that get it right.
I sure hope that you will have a long and happy relationship with your new tractor!
