<font color=blue>A BRAND NEW 152. Wow I don't think I have seen anything newer than the 80's here !!!</font color=blue>

Now remember . . . it was brand new at that time (you know old folks' memories get bad sometimes; I still say that was August 1984, but my brother tried to tell me recently that it was 1982/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif).

<font color=blue>u have had a wonderful time haven't you</font color=blue>

/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gifI think I've had my share of hard times, but as I've told some other folks, I've had a lot more fun than I deserved, too./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

One of the quotes from a person who lost their house in the Canberra fires over the weekend (Actually it was Rob DeCastella - The Marathon runner) was

"What doesn't kill you will make you stronger"

You must then be Mr. Muscles /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Cheers

The original quote /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif came from Friedrich Nietzsche in Twilight of the Idols

"What does not destroy me, makes me stronger."

<blockquote><font size=1>In reply to:</font><hr>

How did you get your replies to look like that??

<hr></blockquote>

{quote}text{/quote}= Surrounds the given text with blockquote and hr's. This markup tag is used for quoting a reply.

Just change the curly parenthesis { to a square one for it to work...

(I can hear Trescrows now sayign "you need a RV?")

Yeah, exactly. What you really need is an RV9A. Equipped with an 0-320 It will cruise 40 MPH faster than the top speed of the 152, carry a greater useful load, considerably more range (useful when you live some place like Australia) and will land and take off shorter, and it stalls slower also. Best of all, since you built it, I think even in Australia, you can do the maintenence. Oh, the cabin room is roughly equal to the space alloted for the front seats of a 182--ie--big people fit and there is a roomy baggage area. These newest kits are fully prepunched. The rivet holes in the skin are punched for example but also the underlying holes in the structure are prepunched. This eliminates a great deal of work, jigging and worry. They also have semi prebuilt versions, more money but heck you got lot's of that don't you?
Nothing I can think of would look nicer attached to your new Garmin 3 Pilot than a RV9A. J

Mike

That's why I log on to TBN each day. I ALWAYS learn something. I don't think the bloke professed to be the originator of his quote, in fact I think he said something along the lines of "What do they say? - What doesn't ......"

CRJ - Hmmmmm - I have enough trouble as it is.

TC - Nah - I have watched a colleague build an RV8 over the past few years. I don't have that time.

Cheers all
