While at the shop today I was informed from one of the diesel mechanics that the use of B-20 biodoesel will void the warranty on Cummins powered Dodge Trucks.

I have used B-20 in my Ford Powerstroke but noticed a decrease in fuel mileage. Besides, the pump price is about 20 cents higher than #2 diesel.

I have a good friend that owns a large dairy farm in Western Michigan and last year used B-20 in his tractors but not this year. He told me that his Deere's were extremely hard to start in cold weather on B-20

Other than it smells good (like french fries), I wonder if small diesel tractor engines would be hurt by the fuel or if it would void the engine warranty. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I've heard that is a problem with the bio-diesel.
