I just looked at and put a deposit on a B1700HSD. Tractor has 316 hours, loader and rear scraper blade, ag tires. It seems to be in excellent condition. Anyway, I have to pay $8400 for it and was wondering if that is too much. It is a 1995. It supposedly cost around $15,000 new. Thanks!

Ron - if you really mean B1700 not 7100, you got a killer deal. I paid $13500 for mine with loader and ag tires a year and a half ago, and felt it was well worth every penny. At 316 hours (hardly broken in!) that price is amazing, unless some bonehead has failed to do the maintanance.

I'm not sure if Kubota still made the B7100 in 1995, but my local dearler had 4 units left and when the new B1700 show up he offer a sweet deals on the B7100,and with in 3 days all the B7100 were sold.

I don't know when they quit making the B7100, but in 1995, I know of at least 4 dealers that were selling them new. I never checked the serial number to see exactly when mine was made, but as far as I know, it was a 1995 model, and I bought it with the front end loader new in July '95 for $10,850.
