Ok thanks , went to the Kubota dealer today and had a chat , they are also putting a tech Q into Kubota , it was an option on the 1750 HST at order , asked them about teeing into the side pipes they said very risky with a log splitter as they have seen several that have blown the whole system apart if the log splitter jams and ends up costing 」1000's to put right :( so the info above sounds like the same as the dealer idea they think about 」450 or $700 to put the parts in that are required and another 」100 to do front take off at the same time should i want a loader on it in the future.

I maybe should have looked more into this before buying :( but found this forum which seems to have loads of great people on it with the knowledge afterwards :(.

Manual already on order had to wait 2 weeks for reprint :)

On the plus side the dealer looked at the pics and chassis n0 and said with the Deck and the rear fan catcher i have not over paid at all for the tractor which is good news , even offered me to buy it if i wanted to sell it LOL.

Thanks

Sorted turns out the HST has another take off under the seat and another under the side rail both with valves that you turn , the rear one will then pipe up & run to the log splitters spool valve rather than a mower deck option that was fitted to mine, as mentioned in an earlier reply :) thanks.

The twin spooler valve in N/A any more i am told from Kubota.

If you follow the hyd pump pressure line to the back, what all do you see?

I believe most Kubota's have a hyd block for hyd components.

It appeare that the 3pt relief is the only relief you have now.

What you will probably have to do is cut the pressure line and insert the loader valve with PB outlet. The PB line will then connect to the other end of the line that was cut which goes back to the 3pt.

Now, the loader relief will protect the hyd system. The loader relief should be set about 50 to 100 psi below the hyd pump max pressure.

Do you see anything that looks like this?

ITC007,

What the dealer says is true about something jamming, but that is also true of anything hyd in an open center system,. If you dead head a hyd pump under power, something is going to happen, a hose will burst, the pump will burst, or the valve will burst.

A log splitter has it's own relief, and should be set at the same relief pressure as the the loader valve.
