These are the Peterson Tractor Lights which are available at Walmart for $11.44. Peterson Manufacturing Company

I suggest using some locktite when installing the lights. The nuts have a tendency to vibrate off and are a strange (perhaps metric) size.

BruceWard,

Did you just take power off the 20 amp rear work light circuit to power these lights?

BruceWard;

Did you ever change the hydraulic fluid in the B21? If so, how big a job and how much fluid did you need.

BTW lights look good.

There are two rear work light circuits on the B21. One near the right rear axle and a second on the left side. The parts manual shows that front work lights should be connected to the circuit one side and the rear to the other. There is only one 20 amp work light fuse in the fuse box so I figure the two circuits are in parallel on the same fuse. I only connected to one of the circuits. If I have any problems I will jumper over to the other work light circuit.

The lights are 55 watts each. 55 watts at 12V is 4.58 amps. With the engine running the voltage should be close to 13.5 bringing the draw to 4.07 amps. Either way the lights are a little under 20 amps, not blowing the fuse or heating the Kubota wiring.

I ordered the B21 owners manual from Messicks for about $30. It details changing the hydraulic fluid as well as several other services. It says that 7.26 gallons of Super UDT are needed.

I do plan to change it myself someday but it was changed before I bought the B21 so I have a lot of hours left before it is due to be changed. It does not appear to be any more difficult than changing the oil in a car.
