Having owned a B7100 for the last twenty years I am now ready to move up to a new tractor. I rented a B21TLB for a long weekend and am now hooked. My only fear is that the TLB may be too much tractor for my purpose, though I can not now imagine life without the backhoe. I use the Kubota to mow 2 acres, plow snow, move dirt, stone, rocks or anything else that I might get into the bucket. I love the hydrostatic drive so I am now debating between the B2710 and the B21TLB. Any thoughts??

If you have any thoughts of removing the loader go for the B-2710. The B-21 is a super compact loader backhoe combination with the increased hydraulics but it does have it's limitations in versatility.

A wonder how many people on TBN have upgraded from a B7100 after many years of use. The B21TLB is a great tractor. But if you want to mow lawn the 27 or 2910 is a much better choice. If you need a backhoe you can get a 4690 that fits the 3PH and does not interfere with the MMM brackets. You will not be able to mow the lawn with backhoe on though..
