Hi everyone newbie tractor owner (170 hrs) and I have succeeded in breaking the rear lift rod on my mid mount belly mower 60" - seemed like an easy enough fix until I realize the front clevis and pin assy has a cotter pin to remove ---and remove the arm - seems to me this pin was put in the wrong direction from the dealership - there is not enough room to slide the headed pin out of the holes with the main tractor hardware in that area - if the head of the pin was toward the inside of the tractor instead of the outside the **** thing would slide right off ? was it suppose to be in that way ? I don't know how to get that pin out without doing some serious mechanical crap - thinking of using a 90 die grinder with a rubber wheel to sheer that pin out ? am I totally missing something here - I would really appreciate any help - Need to mow soon
