B2326 Rusted Clutch

I have a question. My B2326 has 210 hours and the clutch was replaced at 160 hours under warranty. Center spline gave out. That was two years back. Recent;ly I put the clutch in and it would not come out. Sent to the dealer and they said everything was rusted. They said $1600 and it was back to me. My tractor was outside for the last 5 months. They say they can not tell what happened. I am pissed. My tractor has only been in the rain since they took it apart. They said they have never seen anything like that and Kubota NA says I have to work with them (dealer) as "they do not know what happened since it left the dealer." This implie I have done something.

Has anyone else had a problem?

I don't know that model.

I do know that there is a block that one uses to hold the clutch away from the flywheel if the tractor isn't used for a longer time. That's right in the manual. As for why it is rusted, I'd say something wasn't sealed up quite right. My equipment, if it has moving parts, is stored inside. Hope you get things sorted out.

Is there a vent for the clutch housing? Is there a drain on the clutch housing? I put my tractors clutch in the storage position like BP is talking about when I am not using it.
