Last year I bought a used '99 B2400 and the 3PH was working fine, I can raise the 3PH all the way up, but it now slowly bleeds down (even without an attachment). There doesn't appear to be any leaks and the FEL works fine.

Any thoughts on what the problem could be?

Thanks

I don't know your particular model but check under the front of your seat for a knob. There should be a knob that controls the lowering speed of the 3PH.

Yep, that knob is easily adjusted (unintentionally) by the back of your foot.

I believe he is talking about his 3pt bleeding down. Not that he is moving the lever and it is going down slowly. I do not know why a 3pt would bleed, especially if the tractor is running, but I am not very knowledgeable on this kind of thing.
