Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the 351 and 352 loaders? Couldnt find any info on the older 351.

Main concerns are attaching/detaching loader, loader functions such as dumping and lowering at same time...

I recently purchased a used B2400 and had a new LA352 loader installed on it. I don't know about the 351 but 352 works pretty good. Mounting and dismounting can be done from the seat except for dropping the stand arms, everything else is very easy. Since the only experience I've had with loaders before were with much larger units I was a little disappointed at first but after working with it and learning to operate it within its abilities I've become pretty impressed. Today I put about 5hrs on the meter and we moved about 40 tons of good topsoil doing some landscape work!! If you have a dealer install it make sure they run a pressure check on the hydraulic system to ensure that everything is working properly. The only downside to the package is the B2400 is a little weak in the powersteering area and it really becomes apparent when using the loader with heavy material/large bucket full situations. Even so I don't know how I got along without it, I'm finding all sorts of projects just so I can play with it!!!!

Don't really know the difference between the 351 and the 352, but i have a B2400 with the 351 and u can lower and dump at the same time, actually it has many features , u can back up and dump and spread soil very fine.someone else mentioned that they thought the power steering was a little weak with a full load(has nothing to do with the loader) and anyhow i do not find the ps to be weak, i find it quite easy to steer, course i am comming off an old ford 2n and that was a bear to steer /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My 2410 has the LA352. It is an excellent and responsive loader with good power for it's size. I cannot speak for the 2400 but the 2410 does not have weak power steering. It is true that with a heavy load in the FEL and 4WD engaged there is somewhat more effort but I can still twirl the wheel with one finger. I believe the older 351 has been dropped. The LA352 is optimized for the 2410 but it should work on the 2400 as well. Without digging out my brocures, I think the hydrulic output was increased on the 2410 slightly and the 352 has slightly better specs. It also has some visual differences like the curved cross bar brace that provides more hoood clearence etc. J

Oh, yes, you can lower and dump at the same time--of course /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.
Also, like all the 'botas it is a quick attach and detach, I can do mine on and off in under 5 minutes. That is take it off--back out--drive back in and reattach--under 5 minutes. The single joy stick can be moved like an airplane stick and incorporates multiple functions, over and up curls and raises, down and over to the other side lowers and dumps, straight back--down, straight up goes up etc. Simple as pie. Full forward past the notch is the float position. The loader has good range and can lift the tractor front so you can remove and install your MMM. J
