B2400 NO FORWARD, BUT REVERSE SEEMS OK

When you replaced the HST unit, do you have to reset the pump pressure. I got it all back together and I have no forward or reverse now but the loader and 3pt work much better now. Does it take a bit for the fluid to make its way back and the charge pump reprime? Also the mid and rear PTO don't move. I'm very confused??

Yes, you have to let the tractor sit overnight with a fresh hydraulic fluid change for the HST to work properly, very normal.

I found my issue. Lmao. Oh boy. I forgot to put the spur gear and splined coupling on the back side of the HSTpump before i reassembled, and I forgot the double O-rings for the return tube that goes through the frame. Ugh. Charlie Brown. At least it only took an hour to split it again. I'm pretty good at it now. Haha. Doh!!!

Now its all back together, HST works well once I moved back n forth slowly it quieted right up from the normal whine the usually make. Now all the sudden I have no loader/3pt/ steering hydraulics. Idk. I never messed with any of that and it worked fine when I had it together the first time.

Heres a refresher for everyone. If you do a complete hst fluid drain and fill and then have no loader/3pt/PS Hydraulics. Start the tractor, up the rpms just a bit and keep turning the steering wheel back and forth to get the air pockets out of that system.

Yeah, $2400 later its back running fine.
