B2410 Many thanks for all the good advice

Just got my brand spanking new B2410 with FEL and Befco 5' reart ddischarge mower. And a used box scrapper to boot. I was so excited that my wife said I forgot to kiss her goodbye

Anyway much thanks for all the advice. I had a landscaper who used to do my mowing but now I am back to being the king of my castle.

I especially want to thank Mr.P for putting me in touch with Byrd Tractor of Manassas, Va. Since I did not have a lot of time to shop and haggle, talking to Jeremy @ Byrd was my idea of making a purchase, i.e. Painless. BTW I paid 16K for the whole package including the tire ballast and delivery.

Now for the fun.... already 6 hours mowing and learning to used the scrapper.

Great news. Congratulations. I'm glad you like it.

What model Befco mower is it? C30, C40, C50?

Jeremy is a good guy and Byrd in general has been very good with their service. In fact, they should be picking up my L3410 to add the FEL any day now.

I wish you may happy hours of tractoring.

Yep. I am expecting a call from Jeremy any day now. On Friday, he told me he expected to have the loader on by end of week. I already have a list of chores to do this weekend.

I am also getting a tooth bar. Jeremy said he could get it and install it for $325, which is only $25 more than Carver w/shipping (and it will be drilled and installed).

I'll post pics when installed.

I would have rather sold the tractor than spent the money on a loader. However, with the rebates, I didn't want to take too much of a loss. The tractor is paid for and does everthing I need it to do (and more).
