Interesting info. Curtis C....any idea if your PRV has been modified/adjusted? Powerstroke....did you have a backhoe installed in addition to the rear tire foam when the rear tires got light? Thanks

Yes it will make the rear light with the hoe and foam tires which 1000+lbs. I was moving dirt/mud this weekend and with a over full bucket of wet clay in a pile I could make the rear end come up.

I will say the curl will move more weight than the boom on the loader which can get you in trouble in a big hurry on uneven ground or if you are not very careful.

As you see in the photo's you can load some stuff that is a little more than it is rated for just be reasonable as to what you expect a machine to do.

Powerstroke, those logs are HUGE. That's amazing. My B26 would have its tail between its legs wimpering for some milktoast. Something must be wrong with my PRV. I'm currently working on setting up a pressure tester thanks to help on this forum.

Just curious, Powerstroke,, what would that claw weigh in at?
It looks pretty hefty., and so did that biscuit it had in it's mouth, lol

If I had to guess maybe 500 lbs I made it my self out of 3/8 and 5/16 plate and Schedule 80 pipe that I had laying around it gets used a lot.

Howdy,

It's been a few years but I finally got around to removing the right rear tire and was wondering where on the valve the pressure relief is located. Please see pictures. At the bottom of the valve there are 3 "bolts" pointing downward. The back bolt is probably about an inch long. The middle bolt is about 2 inches long and has a sticker on it. The front bolt is about 3/8" and next to that front bolt appears to be the return line (rubber line with a hose clamp = low pressure). Door #1, Door #2, or Door #3. LOL. Thanks for your helpIMG_5023.jpgIMG_5024.jpg

Some more info:
- It's the front bolt (shorter one of the 3 pointing downward at the bottom of the valve) and I used a 22mm wrench to get it out 1/12 of a turn at a time. LOL. After getting the bolt out, there are 3 pieces: the bolt, a spring, and a "cup" at the top. The cup may or may not drop out so beware. I had no shims in mine.
- The wheel lug nuts & bolts are also 22mm FWIW
- I put in one #8 washer and that helped but it still seemed weak. I took it apart and put in another washer. This made it extremely difficult to thread the bolt back into the valve but I eventually got it. These 2 washers still did not make the back tires light when lifting at max weight but considering how difficult it was to thread the bolt back into the valve body, I left it at that. No, I did not put a pressure gauge on it. TLAR = That Looks About Right

The B26 is a significant improvement over my B20 in many areas. More hp and almost 50% more FEL lift capacity. Scary strong at times. Plenty for it’s size. Have to some kind of implement on back to use the FEL. I would have had the dealer check and made sure it was setup right before monkeying around too much. There could be issues covered by warranty and you could void that warranty. Without knowing pressures before or after your mods don’t have much real info to go on.

B26 loaders aren’t meant to be removed like ag tractors so no QDs. A simple tee with gauge to check pressure.

The rear wheels are filled and 2” wheel extensions to better handle my hilly ground.

I took the B26 out today to clear out some trees & stumps and wow, what a difference those 2 washers made! It behaves like one would think it should. Perfect amount of power for the loader and the backhoe. Thanks everyone for your help with this.
