Just got back my b2620 with my new backhoe attached. Dealer said it would take about a hour each time to put the 3 point hitch back on. He said you need to take off your rear tires to pull the rod out that supports the check chains. How do you guys handle this? Looks like you would modify the check chains connection some way so all you would have to do is install the lifting rods and lower links. If you have pictures of your modifications or how you did it please include in your reply. Thanks.

I jack up one side of the tractor with a floor jack, buzz one wheel off with the impact wrench and install the rod. It really doesn't take very long at all. When I take the 3 pt. off, I leave the wheel off until I get my backhoe mount frame mostly fastened(BX2200). It is alot easier to work with at least one tire out of the way.

I don't remove my tires. There is enough room to slide the bar to one side and put the stabilizer and 3pt arm in and then slide the bar to the other side and put the other stabilizer and 3pt arm in. Mine even still has the MMM lift bracket in there with all of this and has not been a problem. It doesn't take an hour to switch between the backhoe and 3pt, maybe 20 mins or less once you get the hang of it. I have noticed that the bar that the 3pt arms and stabilizers go on seems to be a little bent, or at least it slides side to side easier in a certian position. Put a little lube on it and try not to forget about the set bolt in the center.

Good Luck, if this doesn't make sense let me know and I can post a pic. just didn't feel like going out to the barn and taking a pic tonight.

Thanks, I couldn't believe you would have to go to the trouble of taking a tire off. I was even thinking of modifying the stabilizer so those 2 pieces stay on. (not the adjustment linkage, just the part that you put the pin through). I guess the easiest thing is to just try it.

Thanks again.
