B2630/B3030 Seat Fix - Dealer Bulletin

I was told by the manager of one of the dealer reps (Columbus office) that Kubota released a dealer bulletin yesterday with a replacement program for the B2630/B3030 tractor seats. Can someone reply with a bulletin number, or even better still a scanned image of the bulletin???

The dealer called today - Kubota will replace the seat for $25.47 plus shipping for a limited time.

Is this only for the B2630/B3030 or does it apply to other models as well. The seat on my 3 wk old B7800 is absolutely terrible and I'll have to replace it with something else. It's fine if you're doing something where you're on and off the tractor alot, but if I'm mowing after a couple of hours it get's pretty bad. Slopes forward to much and you need to wear a seatbelt to keep from falling out of it

I would also like to know what models this affects, the seat on my BX2350 is awful, slopes too far forward which tends to focus all the jarring while mowing straight to your tail bone, I cut wedges and put under it to raise the front about 1.5", but now there is no back rest. My wife is embarrassed at the seat cushions I have fabricated to make this thing tolerably comfortable. With these seats, Kubota is definitely not vying for repeat customers.

This is for all current model BX and B-Series tractors. The reduced price is only available to an initial dealer ordering of these seats, the normal price is almost $200. Don't expect to see one soon, they are first being applied to production units, then to stock machines, then replacments for existing units and anyone else who wants one. The B2630/B3030 come first, followed by BX's and then later in the year the B7800 and older BX's will come. It will be 3-4 months before you see them in volume.

I am not sure how they are quoting an exact price at the moment, it will be very inexpensive, but we won't know an actual price till we find out what the freight and installation costs are.

My butt had the privilege of sitting in one of the new seats. They are a huge improvment over the old ones. In Kubota's words, they are taking somthing thats been a complaint and turning it into a positive feature.

Quite honestly, I'd be impressed (ONLY) if the dealer got in touch with me first with the anty up of this service bulletin.
