B2630/B3030 Seat Fix - Dealer Bulletin

The dealer here has some on order.

They say, "Call back in July."

Not impressed (see the post above) but at least my rear end may be a bit happier...

They did not mention any expenditure, but I didn't ask.

Upon request, here's the bulletin that the dealer sent me. I presume there was some ultra-classified secret info that they saw fit to mark out.... LOL... I told them I had a Q clearance... LOL.... I have this saved and posted in portrait page setup but the dang explorer version that this opens in, shows it in landscape. I've tried to make it work properly but no go... Go figure...

Ok I am a bit confused.....

I am taking delivery of a new B3030 later this week.... so I suppose It will not have the new seat. Should I ask my dealer about it? also how to tell the difference between the old vs the new seat?

From what I know, you may or may not have a new seat. It depends on the production date and basically, luck of the draw as to what seat was available during assembly. This bulletin says you should either have a new model seat upon delivery (which I have not seen) or you'll get one, once the replacement promotion begins with parts availability to the dealers. Just tell your dealer to put you on his / her list of things to do and I feel certain that you'll be OK.

Ditto I just purchased a B7510 today for Friday delivery should I ask about this also?

One way you'll be able to tell if the old seat is on your tractor is to sit on it. If it feels like you are sliding out of the seat you have the old.
