Anyone replaced the speakers in their B2650/3350? I'm wanting to replace my speakers and maybe add 1-2 more, I was think about adding 1 in between the radio and a/c controls on that flat spot. Need to take off the roof or the headliner and see how much room I have to work with. Any pics would be great!

I thought the same thing, to replace my speakers with something of a higher quality. I don't think it's such a good idea anymore. I gauged the HST whine at 95 decibels inside the cab. I need to wear hearing protection while running it. I can't justify putting in a higher quality sounding speaker if I need to wear earmuffs. Don't you think? I would be curious to know the wattage of the stock speakers. I know my radio outputs 180 watts. I can hear the radio pretty well even with the headphones on.

Mine has the HST whine but I don't think it's that bad honestly.....it's annoying but I sure don't feel the need for hearing protection inside the cab. Some of it may be me, I'm just happy not to be breathing in the dust and baking in this east Texas heat! If that means having a little noise that's fine by me, just turn up the music!

Take some friendly advice. Wear hearing protection. I worked around loud machines for quite some time. I'm losing my hearing. Not fun. Its cumulative. It may not seem loud but it's doing damage. Slowly. It like smoking. It'll take years before you notice the effects and when you do, it's not pleasant. Jeez I'm starting to sound like my father. :D

Save the money and go to a Bose QC 30 Bluetooth noise cancelling headset.

What's the NRR on those bad boys? One tractor guy said the technology works to protect your hearing, but I had called bose tech support and they said it didn't. What gives?

Been using noise cancellation Bose for 15 years in airplanes and on tractors, while Bose doesn't publish NRR data, they consistently are rated equal to or better than similar units that do publish NRR data. The newer Bose provide excellent passive and active noise cancellation, esp.the A20 for the airplane and the qc30 for the tractor. It is an effective method of quieting the noise of the machine while maintaining ability to communicate or listen to communications or entertainment over a phone or radio. If still not enough passive sound protection or if the machine being operated is still too noisy, I will add a pair of custom molded ear plugs.
