B2650,
I bought a B2650 this year with a loader, mid-mount mower and a snowblower. The snowblower has the hydraulic spout rotation. The manual to the blower says like I was expecting, that up and down is just like raise and lower on the loader (front to back on the joystick), and the spout would swivel with the bucket (side to side on the joystick). The dealer connected these backwards, or so i thought, side to side is actually raise and lower the blower, and front to back is the spout. Yet if I switch the hoses around, the spout will only rotate 1 direction. It does not come back.

Now in the book for the tractor, is says that hydraulic motors should only be connected to the ports that are for loader up and down.

Is this the case?

I can't believe Kubota would actually make a set up for the blower that I can't use float.

What is wrong with this set up?

Does anyone have this set up and is this the case?

The rise and drop are the same as your loader. To make the chute go right, you have to push the control with a bit of force to go beyond the ident position. It’s the same motion to drop the bucket.

Exactly what Sandy said. Use your loader stick with assertiveness. Push forward past the detent for float. Push fully right (past the detent) to move chute to the right.

Thank you for using the right “dent”. Couldn’t think of the right term.

Thanks for the information.

I do know how to use my joystick, except I questioned it because of the manual and the fact the dealer hooked it up the way they did. In the manual to both the loader and the tractor it states to not use the outlets that control the bucket for a hydraulic motor. Which is what adjusts the spout. It states that moving the stick to the right can blow the seals to hydraulic motor.

Yet the blower manual states to have it hooked up so it can float, but doesn't show the connections or cover the hydraulic spout. That has a separate manuals and only shows how to install it.

My prior tractors didn't have the 2nd position on the bucket controls or a detent to the right.

I am disappointed in the manuals, not very clear on some items.

Perhaps a call to the service manager of the dealer that put it together for you is in order?

i very well may, but need to use the blower. Dealer is closed today, and tonight through tomorrow 6-8" of snow. I didn't catch this until after they had closed Saturday.

Up and down control needs to be connected to the white and yellow connectors. Chute rotation gets connected to red and blue. The the pressure for up is the white port and return is yellow when the stick is pulled back its the opposite when its pushed down. For the chute if you want to rotate right blue is pressure and red is return with the stick to the right past the detent. The owners manual (pg 44 in mine) shows the diagram of the loader stick and what the pressure and return line is in those positions

This is how mine is hooked up from the dealer.

Hopefully that helps
