Tier 4 engines produce high operating temperatures. Believe this factor contributes to oil break-down, even full synthetic.
My book says 50, 200, 400, 600, 800 and on and on. But I did 50 and from here I will do annually as I do no think I can put a full 200 hours per year on the machine, and I would not go past a year on the oil.
It never hurts to change other then your pocket, and that isn't much if your a DIY'er. Have had my 1100 since 2015, has 145 hours now. I just change it every year and pay no attention to hours
