Hey folks,

When greasing up the tractor, the manual indicates that there should be a zerk fitting on the treadle pedal where it mounts to the shaft, but for some reason, my B2650 does not have one. Is this normal, or did they forget to put that fitting on the shaft? My pedal stuck on me a few times, which is what makes me think, maybe there is supposed to be on there, but they missed it on mine for some reason.

Thank you much.

Are you trying to find it from the top, or the bottom, of the floorboard ? You need to find it while looking from the underside. I removed a broken one and installed a new one for a friend of mine in the spring. I would be very surprised if yours doesn,t have the grease nipple. Any chance it fell out ?
Clean the area up good, maybe you will b e able to see where it is suppose to be.

I have laid underneath of it for quite some time looking. There is a flat spot on the shaft, where it seems like one would screw in, but there is no hole or mark on it, just a solid flat spot on the shaft.

There is a zerk, or supposed to be, that is a bit forward of where you think it should be. I had a 3350, same as 2650, that was hard to get to. Under the right side....if you move the treadle when you are under the tractor and follow the movement you should find it. Hopefully it isn’t broken off.

There's no zerk on my 2017 b2650 where the speed control pedal attaches to the shaft. But there is one on the brake pedal shaft, as the 50-hour maintenance section shows. I believe you are referring to the entry in the lubricants, fuel and coolant section, where the speed control pedal is listed with the 3-point top link and lift rod under greasing. I believe that should read brake pedal shaft and not speed control pedal. A Kubota manual error.
I lubricate my speed control pedal moving parts underneath with fluid film. It seems to be doing well at keeping it operating properly.

I could find the one on the brake shaft and it is well lubricated. I did spray some lube on the treadle pedal where it meets the shaft and hope that will suffice for now. Once the snowmachines are out of the garage, I'll bring the tractor in the garage and have one more look at it, but I am almost definite mine doesn't have one on the treadle pedal. An error in the manual may be the case!
