Hi - My previous Kubota B7500 hst with non-foldable Rop I had for 18 yrs. I kept it in my garage which has a standard 7' x 9' garage door. I could have left it outside but the kids in the neighborhood would often play on it or fall from it, so I ended up storing it in my garage. I am looking into purchasing a Kobota B2650 with a cab. I do a bunch of snow blowing in my area on the B7500 with snowblower on back PTO and no cab so lots of freezing jobs.

Since the B2650 / Cab will need to go into the garage too what size garage door would I need to upgrade the 7' x 9' opening to allow the B2650 access to the garage?
The tires were never loaded on the B7500 - should I load them on the B2650? - I will be doing very little FEL work, mostly snow blowing.
I see there is now an option to have a snowblower on the front end of the B2650 run off the mid mount PTO which would be really great for my neck. My 2 questions in this area are concerning 1) is there a big cost difference? 2) is there a big performance difference ie. Front Blower is slower then rear blower, Front Blower can only be lifted a shorter height then the rear blower.

I often find having the FEL on the front of tractor is great for pushing back the banks of snow and faster then blowing it.

Really appreciate your responses

Yes. Big cost difference for the front blower.

Not much need for liquid ballast with rear blower but you will likely need it with front blower.

I have a 3350 with a cab and assuming the same size tires you need to have at least 86 to 90 inch height opening. I don’t and I’m still looking at an option but my double opening into my shop has an I beam header. I can cut away a couple of inches of wood and maybe get the cement milled to get it to fit. Right now it lives in a lean to but I would love to get it inside so the mice would stop living in it. I have filled tires so reducing pressure is problematic.
The cab does lock so it might not be so attractive to the rug rats.
I run a front mounted blower and also have a plow for the front as well. I can change from one to the other in less than 5 minutes. To switch out for the fel takes 10 minutes or so. Good luck
Ps I am using r4’s and no chains and here in Maine I am not having problems.
