- 2001 Kubota B7500HST
Hi - My previous Kubota B7500 hst with non-foldable Rop I had for 18 yrs. I kept it in my garage which has a standard 7' x 9' garage door. I could have left it outside but the kids in the neighborhood would often play on it or fall from it, so I ended up storing it in my garage. I am looking into purchasing a Kobota B2650 with a cab. I do a bunch of snow blowing in my area on the B7500 with snowblower on back PTO and no cab so lots of freezing jobs.
Since the B2650 / Cab will need to go into the garage too what size garage door would I need to upgrade the 7' x 9' opening to allow the B2650 access to the garage?
The tires were never loaded on the B7500 - should I load them on the B2650? - I will be doing very little FEL work, mostly snow blowing.
I see there is now an option to have a snowblower on the front end of the B2650 run off the mid mount PTO which would be really great for my neck. My 2 questions in this area are concerning 1) is there a big cost difference? 2) is there a big performance difference ie. Front Blower is slower then rear blower, Front Blower can only be lifted a shorter height then the rear blower.
I often find having the FEL on the front of tractor is great for pushing back the banks of snow and faster then blowing it.
Really appreciate your responses
