B2910, I\'m an owner at last
Spent the last 2 years dreaming and reading posts. Just penned a deal on a B2910. Don't know just how well I did but, I think my local dealer did me right: B2910HSD with folding rops, LA402 FEL, B4672 Back hoe, w/16" bucket, R4's and a 60" belly mower for $24,650 delivered (Carver was more). How did I do? I'm in the car business and I've been reading posts that state that the dealer is obligated/wants service/warranty work on tractors he didn't sell. Unless there are major differences between car and tractor dealers, from my experience, warranty work pays the same hourly rate as retail (it's the law in most states) but, dealers don't like doing warranty work on a unit they didn't sell because they are reimbursed by the mfr. based on the mfr. published Flat-Rate, which is typically less than what they charge a retail customer. Bottom line: they make less on warranty - buy local because if you have a problem, the guy that made money on you will be more likely to take care of you. Also, why are Kubota box blades so darn much money? And, can anyone recommend a pto mounted chipper for this tractor. All replies sincerely appreciated. This is a great forum - thanks!
