Looking for a kubota mechanic or someone who knows all about his b2910.
There's a switch/plunger way under the tractor that has to be depressed by the hydo pedal for the tractor to start. The switch/plunger screws on to a y bracket and is held on by two bolts in the front and back of the switch. Well the bolts are loose and the switch moves out of alignment with the piece of the gas pedal linkage that keeps the plunger depressed and allows the tractor to start.
It is very difficult to get to the plunger switch, I can kind of move it back into alignment when it gets out of line with my fingers by reaching up to it. But there is no way I can get a wrench up into the linkage to tighten the bolts. Looks like I have to disassemble some pipes and take off the rear wheel to try to get at it.
two questions
1. Has anyone just disconnected the switch? I see where I can remove the cladding under the front of the seat and get to the wires, and it looks like its just disconnecting the plastic plug ins. DOes this work, or do you have to wire it together.
2. Has anyone figured out a way to get at this plunger to tighten it up without removing parts?
