First off, A thank you for all the info I have gathered from TBN. I am a new Kubota fan that has been shopping since last November for a new tractor. I picked out the new b7610hsd but since gathering and reading info here I decided the b2910 is right for me. Ok, Now I need to know which backhoe the Kubota BL6590 or the Woods 7500. My dealer can order either one. The Woods is $200.00 more. My dealer tells me they are both sub frame mount which confused me cause I thought I read the Kubota is 3 pt mount. I definately want subframe mount but which one? Please help me out deciding. I understand that if I use a belly mount mower the bh has to be removed and thats ok. Are the specs better or cost and availablility of replacement parts stand out better for one? Any other opinions between Woods and Kubota bh's are appreciated.

Are the subframe mounting brackets for both backhoes compatable with a mid mount mower ?
You may want to ask the dealer, if you plan on a belly mower that could be the deciding factor.

My B7800 with Woods 7500 will arrive in 2 or 3 weeks. I decided on Woods after considering all the great info I got in response to my question at:

I understand the Kubota backhoe most comparable to the Woods 7500 is the BL4690A. Its price with 3 pt mount and PTO pump would have been $500+ more than what I am paying for the Woods with subframe and using tractor hydraulics. I am not familiar with a Kubota model BL6590 and do not see it listed among the accessories for the B series.

Since you haven't bought yet... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If I did not already have my B2910 TLB, knowing what I Know now...with 3.7 acres here...and with a smaller BX2200 which I did not have then that I can use for grass cutting...I would seriously consider a L3130 with the BH90 backhoe.

The backhoe is better, the mounting is better, the loader is stronger, and the tractor gives you more for dollar spent.

BUT the 3130 is a step up in size...and slightly more costly, but not that much in my opinion.

Can you see I sort of crave a 3130? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

That being said, the only real reason I wish I had the 3130 is because of the better backhoe mounting method. I don't really like the 3PH backhoe that is on my B2910 [standard Kubota] don't have the number handy, but it is the larger of the two available.

As you will read in the other threads it is a hard call. Boils down to a decision between factory standard and probably better after market sub frame design.

I fantasize about trading my b2910 TLB for a 3130, but doubt that I will do it! Do lust for that BH90 backhoe though... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
