Just wondering what the actual hydraulic flow that is available to run an implement if the hydro is in neutral.

The total pump output is rated at 8.3 gpm...is that the flow available through the rear remotes??

If Anybody that knows please chim in

I would think that you would be getting slightly less than that through the rear remotes. I believe the hydro transmission takes some of the flow regardless of whether or not it is in gear.

Ericher,

The hitch and auxiliary circuit flow is 4.7 at 2800 RPM.

That is correct I checked the owners manual,was curious myself. It has a dual pump with 3.6 for the power steering ,4.7 for auxiliary that make 8.3 gmp total.

If you go to the Kubota web site and bring up new tractors you should be able to open a page showing all the details of the tractor.:D

It has a dual pump with 3.6 for the power steering ,4.7 for auxiliary that make 8.3 gmp total.

CUTs with HSTs have pumps for the HST that are independent of the
implement pump. The implement pump is a dual pump as you state, or
a single gear pump with diverter for the power steering. Only the 4.7
GPM is available for implements (remote, FEL, or 3PH). When the
HST is not moving the tractor (swash plate at 0 degrees), the HST piston
pump will not be running, but the HST charge pump always runs. Excess
flow from the PS circuit when the steering is not being operated may
contribute to the charge pump flow, however. The charge pump always
running is one of the reasons why HST tractors have a lower PTO power
output that equivalent CUTs with gear trannies.

Just wasn't sure if the psp contributed to the overall implement/auxilliary flow when it wasn't being used!

Would a flow meter be the only true way to tell? Just wondering what type of implements I can run hydraulically.
