So I pulled the brand new B2920 into the garage tonight after about 5 minutes practicing with the FEL, I have about 8 minutes of actual use on the tractor so far. I pulled in stopped and this nut falls off and rolls across the floor :censored: 8mm It's had a wrench on it the corners are a little chewed up. Guess I'll call the dealer tomorrow and see if he has any ideas. I crawled under the tractor but don't see any missing nuts.

I'm guessing that it was an "extra" that someone dropped during assembly. Just a guess. Does it match the hardware for the tool box?

Looks like a panel nut, check your tin on the hood area or fenders to see if your missing a nut.

Hope it isn't a linkage nut!

Well, the nut behind the wheel had already gotten off the tractor so I guess that isn't it.

LOL :D
Sorry, it's early.

Looks like the nut that keeps falling off the orange triangle behind my seat.

I was half expecting to see a picture of an operator lying next to his machine when I opened this thread also.

Seriously though I hope you or the dealer can figure out where it belongs. I wouldn't be happy either if it happened to me.

A good indication that you should get out your wrenches and check every nut and bolt that you can see. DONT forget to check all the wheel bolts and recheck them again at 50 hours or less to make sure they are still tight. FEL bolts where the frame attaches to the tractor is traditionally a place needing frequent checking also as they can do some damage if they get loose as in break off inside the tractor housing making it very hard to remove. Same with wheel nuts, loose wheel nuts can ruin the rims very fast.

The nut has usuage wear on it; tire may have picked it up off the ground.

At four hours my new L3700 shed a tie rod end nut. There was obviously no cotter pin installed when assembled. I spotted the nut in the grass while mowing. To err is human....check your nuts on a new tractor, especially wheels, tie rod ends and control linkages. I also checked torque on the FEL frame at about 20 hours.
