Hey guys
Need help with a dumb question. B2920 has run like a champ since I had it. Only 115 hours on it. I ran it for an hour or so yesterday not problem. I then hosed off the dirt and gravel dust and put it back in the barn. Now it wont start. All electrical elements work ok. Tractor wont even try to turn over, just dead. Seems like something electrical, possibly related to me hosing it off? Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like one of the safety interlock switches to me. A pure guess on my part would be the hydro pedal switch, since that's the one that seems to come up most here. Jiggle the pedal forward and back and see what happens.

Same thing happened to me last week, checked every switch and pedal. Turns out it was the "key stop" fuse that had blown.

There is a zerk under the deck near the hydro pedal where you can grease it. I use a slightly lighter weight grease on mine and do it when I do the loader (every 10 hours). That will keep it operating smoothly and let it self center. They tend to get gummed up easily, so that's always the first place I look when the tractor doesn't start.

So now this continues to happen. I greased it and pedal seems to level and work ok. Is there something more I need to do? If it won't start I either jiggle the hydro pedal or the break and then it starts.

You may try pushing a lighter grease in there and make sure to wipe off the excess. When mine was doing it i greased it and worked it through the full range a bunch and that helped. The sensor is very sensitive. I think there is a tension adjustment somewhere to return it to center, but given the hours you probably shouldn't need to adjust it. I can't recall off hand, but i thought there were 2 zerks (one for forward, one for back), you'll want to get both.
