B3000 Front Axle Oil Leak?

Hi All.

I have a B3000 and when I pulled it out of the garage, I noticed a small pool of oil on the garage floor which was right where my front left wheel was located.

I looked a little closer to the wheel and saw that on the inside of the front left wheel was a bunch of oily dirt on the rim.

Not sure what to do next, except call my local dealer to pick it up and investigate/repair.

Any suggestions before I make the call?

Could be as simple as a seal leak or the bearings are bad allowing enough movement to cause the seal to leak. If you typically do your own auto repairs, it is not something that is overly difficult to do. If little experience, perhaps best left to the pros.

Thanks for the insight.

I don't have a lot of experience, so I'll place the call to the local dealer.

I sometimes seem to create more problems by trying to fix other problems.

I hope for a quick turn around. I just hate paying the Pickup and return fee. ($175 round trip).
