B3030 403fel 27 series front blowers.

Hello all, i'm aware of the ongoing problems some of you are experiencing with off center & crooked 403 fel's & kubotaone has a crooked 2782 front blower! I mounted up my 2782 today and it is straight and level as is my 403. IMHO & i am by no means a tractor authority, i really think there is a mounting issue of some kind and not a tweeked frame issue, again this is just conjecture on my part, let me provide an example. 4 years ago i purchased a 2650 front snowblower & subframe factory new for my B7500. Not only were all the threads crossed & junk because some knucklehead didin't check the tooling, the holes in the subframe to recieve the pushplates on the blower were 1/2 inch, however, the pins & pushplate holes were 3/4 inch! I think perhaps mounting plates are not identical on both sides or some hardware issue is causing this problem. As for the vibration issue some have, i don't even have a guess.

Mr Kingoflawns. I have enjoyed your many posts and pictures of your fine machine. I have a favor to ask of you. Could you please post a picture of the blower subframe and how it attatches to the tractor? I have an old Meyers plow that I am going to mount on my B3030 and I would like to see exactly how the factory subframe is attached. I am going to make my own subframe and mount and want to make sure I do it right. Thanks.

Yes toolguy, i will take some pictures of the subframe. why don't you send me a pm with your address and i will mail you the photos, you always get more from photos in hand than you do from a monitor screen. For anyone who owns a 26 series blower, the 27 series is a complete redesign from the ground up, we will see how she performs soon.

I removed my blower and sub-frame this weekend. I checked everything that I could to try and figure out what's not square - but I can't figure it out. Please, I don't want to scare people into thinking that all 3030's frames are bent, but in my case I do wonder.....

K1, is it possible that one of your loader stanchions is mounted higher than the other, or not identical? Tell me also, is your blower square in relation to the tractor? I measured from both sides of the tractor to the leading edge of the blower housing & it's within 1/2 inch, close enough to call square.

The left FEL subframe mount (the upright bracket that the pin goes through) is higher than the right side, by about a 1/4 inch, maybe less. The blower appears to be square. But now I think about it, I measured out from the grill guard and the FEL mounts, if they're out, so are my measurements. Thanks for getting back to me king.
