Kubotaone:
Good news! A gentleman from Kubota's corporate headquarters in CA called me this afternoon in reference to my email to Kubota about my difficulty when trying to purchase SUDT. They were very upset about the dealer's response and their use of New Holland's std. fluids in their tractors, instead of the recommended SUDT. He is sending me a FREE 5 gal. pail of SUDT for my troubles, and is sending the regional sales rep. to talk to the dealer.
He also stressed that many people are mistaken in thinking that SUDT is only recommended for cold-weather climates. There are as many advantages for hot-weather use, (as in southern CA,) as there are cold, including anti-foaming agents in SUDT which are superior to regular UDT. He also confirmed that Valvoline is the manufacturer of their fluids.
This call from their corporate offices further convinces me that I made a wise choice when I chose the Kubota B3030 over the green and yellow brand.
