I never considered that, I'll have to give it a try next time she's up in the air. Are you able to actually get it clean or mostly just blow off the big chunks?

Don't tell OSHA but at home I use a piece of copper tubing with the end flattened down that is about two foot long to get into most anywhere! It does get all of it out on top of the deck and does a good job underneath. At the shop we also blow everything off before getting it wet with the washer and it takes a lot less time to clean a machine and they really are cleaner with no wads of grass around spindle pulleys.

I plan to look into the possibility of adding two small fans to the cab of an F-series mower
The F hard cab already comes with a 2-speed fan. Couldn't tell you how well it works though, maybe take a poll in your other thread about the mower.

Thanks for the tips, now I just gotta find the blowgun with the extension wand (packed away with half my other tools when we moved). I know what you mean about chasing wads of grass around the pulleys.

For cleaning decks I really like an air compressor! You keep it dry and it doesn't compact the grass around the bearings and spindles leaving them wet till they can dry out stopping the rusting problem.
I use a leaf blower!

I thought of that too...won't be as concentrated as pushing 100psi through a hole the size of a coffee straw though.

OK, we got scraping w/rake, air compressor/blowgun, leaf blower, and power washing so far. Given enough time the words "flamethrower" and "goats" will show up!

B3030 with A/C = cab model. Cab Model + MMM = need to carefully examine trees with low branches and how close can you get to base of trees without whacking limbs against cab. If all your trees are limbed up, no problems. If some trees have low limbs and there's grass you can't reach near the trunk, you need either to leave it uncut, or trim it up with a small push unit, string trimmer, or something similar. If you had an RFM, you could back it up close to the trunk, unless the tree is too close to the house, etc. Just a little issue to consider.
