It's cool that DSLRs have become 'quality video cams'. Make sure you tell everyone to push YouTube up from 360 to 1080 and then click the 'full size' icon. Even tho' I'm a Canon and JD person, that's nice imagery!

Had you not mentioned it was 13deg - I would have thought it better for you to take a shovel to that little bit. Having lived in N. Wisconsin, sometimes 'shoveling snow' gave you something to do for the day while waiting for the county to plow. We're looking for close to 60 degrees again this Sat., Jan 7th. Cheers.

What you saw was just a bit of my snowplowing regiment. My actual driveway wasn't in the movie. It is 600 feet long. To do my whole property takes about 45 minutes from when I start the tractor till when I put it in the barn assuming normal snow. By hand, it would probably be a sunrise to sunset job and it would look that good, but being a retiree, maybe I should for the exercise.

One of the nice things about that camera is that it has the capability to autofocus movies on the fly which is new for any DSLR and worked pretty well here. I don't see any reason to get a movie camera anymore given the video quality of DSLR's.

I heard the weatherman say today that 99% of the lower 48 states got above freezing today. The high here was 31.5, but it may get above freezing for a bit later today. However our foot or so on the ground isn't supposed to disappear.
