- '97 NH Boomer 1925 HST 4WD, // Kubota B3030 HSTC
Decided I needed a cab and A/C, so got a B3030 delivered wednesday 08-20-08, delayed from monday 08-18-08 due to the pup being in surgery. $16,945.00 with grille guard and rear work light and choice of R1's or R4's (was equipped with R1's and changed to R4's @ no charge. Tractor had 0.9 hrs and still had old seat, so I guesstimate it is about 14-18 months since build; got new seat to go (I will install) @ no charge, dealer could not get any more of the subsidised seats, so (they) had to pay regular dealer net cost + UPS. I also decided to buy 3 front weights and the rear fender flares/extensions for a little over $200.00. The tractor has no scratches or dents etc, and the orange paint is perfect on both plastic and sheet metal, but the grey chassis paint is just a little chalky. Guess my NH Boomer will hit the for sale market soon, has been a good tractor with no problems, except the battery gassing which has visibally, but not structuraly damaged the radiator's paint job. Already made one little mod, I changed out the hood headlamps from the #1073 bulb to a halogen #795; much brighter, at least so against the barn wall. I can't believe after all the so called modern sleek front end styling of the front end of the tractor, that Kubota still uses a basic automotive backup lamp bulb for the headlamps.
