I expect the 3030 to move lots of snow fast. I base this on 5 seasons of snow with my B7500 and what i could do with the smaller machine, i guess we will know soon!
got mine today -still waiting on blower subframe, but the back blade worked better than i thought-not to bad a learning curve-studded chains were worth their weight in gold- you might get your chance next week.
I have a B290 with turfs on it and it moves snow very well.
I plow a lot of snow with it and have never needed chains.
My Rear tires are loaded with calcium.
The machine will push through 2 feet of snow in high range
without a problem. If your pushing up a steep grade you may
to drop down to mid range...
As cmhyland said. My B2910 will push 2' of snow in high range with no problems. I help my neighbors out keeping 2000' road cleared. With a 6 1/2' FEL mounted blade it takes 4 passes to clear a 18' wide road. About 1/2 hour time.
Got the above typed. Then decided to check what equipment you have. It may take longer to do that size road with a snowblower. Just the same, for its size B2910/B3030 will not have problems with power. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif It will run circles around your B7500. Please do not rub in the fact that you will be doing it in a heated cab no matter how long it takes. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
You have not updated your bio to show your B3030 yet. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

TWO FEET of snow?? WOW!!! If we had a snow like that here...nothing would be moving for 2 weeks!!
Scott, good luck with your 3030 will be fun for sure,I live in northern Me, and all we are getting is lots of rain here.Temperatures are in the 40's and fifties for this time of year this is unheard of.Must be that global warming thing, shouldn't really complain it is good on the heating bill , I just like to move snow also.Best of luck
Hi ron, i will have my wife change the bio soon. Two more days of kubota landscaping & i will change over to snow mode and post another photo. Last of the core aerations saturday & last of the athletic field winterizations sunday, then on with the blower. KubotaOne has me a little concerned about a drive chain issue he is having with his 2782?
Ron H., should I use the front bucket or the rear blade for snow? I don't want to tear up my concrete driveway at all. I have a JD216 tractor with a 4' blade that has a spring on it so it won't tear up the concrete. I would like to use my 3030 as long as it will not tear up my driveway. Any suggestions?
Set the bucket close to the ground the roll it back a couple of degrees so the front edge will not dig in. You can then drop it down all the way. This will put some scratch marks on drive even in float position. You may want to keep it off drive and use rear blade for final clean up. Turn the rear blade around backward for forward clearing. This will minimize marks on drive. My front blade has a rubber edge so I do not mark scratch my neighbors cement drive and my blacktop drive. I do leave little black marks on his though that go away a soon as a little rain hits his drive in the spring.
I have go out and plow my drive this morning. Got about 3" overnight. More seat time. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
