( Sully2, I went one extra step with my lights by buying a canopy, to mount them to, and after last winters heavy snows, and the need to do some night work I am happy I did. By mounting to a canopy all you have to do is drill through fiberglass to mount your lights, your switches are all handy and out of the weather, the front work lights are 30 to 36 inches forward of the ROPS which gives you a lot more light for FEL work. Last but not least you don't get rained on. I'll post a few pics of my setup. )
Great looking setup!!! Im running without a canopy now...Im afraid Id get it ripped up in the brush and trees..AND..I dont have the dynamo power to run much more than a flashlight I found out...LMAO.
Ive found LED yellow clearance lights I can mount on the upper backside of the ROPS...wired into my 4 way flasher..and that way I can get some "blinking lights" HIGH UP for someone to see...and being LED's they wont take doodlie squat power-wise ( which I dont have... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif..) and use the existing "work light" circuit for ONE...LARGE fwd facing .??.."head light"..??..mounted upside down under the TOP of the ROPS ( again..to keep it from getting torn off from trees)
Id LIKE to mount my light switch IN the dashboard ( 20 amp rated..lighted pushbutton) if I can figure out how to get that dashboard OFF the thing...lol...but then again thats a lot of back and forth wiring..!! I think the BEST way is to mount the switch in the dash...connected to a relay in the back where the present wiring is at...THEN take off and go up inside the ROPS.
Cant get doodlie done at this point...because of RAIN!!!
